Huichol Center Visit

I recently returned to the Huichol Center for Cultural Survival. Every time I visit, I return full of love, admiration, and gratitude. On this trip I saw the progress of their water project and the planting of new trees. I watched the Huichol children practice ceremonial dance.  I received a cleansing from a Huichol shaman on the beautiful Huichol Center land. I ate organic vegetables and fruits from the Huichol Center garden. And I was honored to again work with the Huichol beaders as they meticulously bead old designs and new.

What a trip. What a place. What a culture.
